In 2019, after nearly a decade spent working for non-profit arts organizations full-time and supporting creative colleagues who were bringing their artistic visions to life, Leah Podzimek established Luster Productions as a way to house her multi-faceted activities as an opera singer, freelance arts manager and creative producer.
Luster is a unique production company and creative consultancy dedicated to telling musical stories audiences can relate to, digging deeper into opera-adjacent and immersive art, and creating opportunities for Leah and fellow opera singers to curate performance experiences in unique environments. It is the vehicle for projects of Leah’s own devising, as well as partnerships with other creatives and customized interactive performances for businesses, organizations, and individuals that want to incorporate performance in their event, project, exhibition, and more.
